Burning Car Driven into Glasgow Airport by Two Men of "Asian Origin"

A car on fire has been driven at the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport, police have confirmed.

Eyewitnesses have described a Jeep Cherokee being driven at speed towards the building with flames coming out from underneath.

They have also described seeing two Asian men, one of whom was on fire, who had been in the car.

Must be more of Leon's former BNP members, blacked up with shoe polish, or something

You all will have heard the cautionary message "Don't do this at home".

Well, there are some things you don't do in Glasgow. An eye witness informs us that a blazing would-be attacker was confronted by local folk, who were yelling at him. When questioned further, he responded that the passenger chorus was "unprintable", but a security guy at the scene was heard saying something like "let the b*gger burn".

I reckon it's something in the Whisky.

Really? Ha. Glasgow rocks. I can't imagine it being like that at a London airport somehow.

He can think himself lucky they didn't start stamping on him.

(Apparently, in Glasgow, they don't stop stamping on you just because the flames have gone out.)

Actually, many years ago, an elderly friend of ours accidentally drove a blazing car down our main street. It was an old VW with the engine in the back, and she was totally unaware of the situation, until some schoolchildren walking along the pavement ran up to her to wave her down. Some rather handsome young men from the Fire Brigade dealt with it for her, and it was all done very nicely really.

If anyone believes this is a real terror attack and not a staged event I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

Kudos to to the scots. That's the spirit.

Quite hilariously you can just about hear the BBC news reader interviewing the scot who knocked one of them to the ground giving a wheezing muttley style laugh after he mentions it about 50 seconds in ;)

    Eyewitness 'hit jeep driver'

These two men were planning a to have a harmless cup of tea in their Jeep as they drove past the airport. They used a camping stove to brew-up, took a corner too fast, and knocked the stove over thus setting the car on fire. In the ensuing panic they crashed into the terminal building. The eye-witness heard one of them shouting 'Allan Allan' and he fought with a policeman as he tried to enter the vehicle and rescue their pet hamster that was unfortunately trapped inside the burning vehicle.
So nothing to see there, move along please.
