MI5 Knows of 30 terror plots threatening the United Kingdom

Move along please, nothing to see here.

MI5 knows of 30 terror plots threatening the UK and is keeping 1,600 individuals under surveillance, the security service's head has said.

It's all the fear of poltics. You see. The warmongers want to retain power. You see. It's all part of Blairs war machine.

Good lord, holy mother of jesus, joseph and that other one.

Out of the 1,600 inviduals under survelliance, 1,600 are Muslim.

Muslims need to know denial is not a river in Egypt. Sort it the fuck out.

Update: A Muslim comments on this, coming out and strongly condemning......... the head of MI5.

IHTISHAM HIBATULLAH OF THE BRITISH MUSLIM INITIATIVE

Ihtisham Hibatullah said he was concerned about the stigmatisation of the whole Muslim community following Dame Eliza's claim that 200 groups were involved in plotting.

He said doing so was "completely unfair and unjust against the whole Muslim community" and accused the government and security services of "dragging the Muslim community along in such a way where it creates more hatred towards the community and Islam."

I'm not arguing with you here but you didn't copy his whole statement.. he went on to say the muslim community is working hard to create a union with groups of all beleifs add building comunication...or something like that, maybe its all in how people read thigs. I'm not disagreeing with you either but I think he is saying the other side never gets heard... another muslim leader in the same article supported the m15 and said its their job to stop terrorist acts, but it's the communitys resposibility to stop terrorists. I think here they are also agreeing with what you said about denial.

Tu s tin, let me translate what he's saying

MI5 shouldnt be telling the british public the truth about islamic terror plots

I pay my taxes, I have a right to know. The standard response from these Muslim organisations is when someone mentions Islamic terror threats they always come back with an attack saying that they're increasing Islamophobia.

We would all be a lot better off if these vocal voices cocentrated on keeping their "brothers" from hating the kafir.

Everytime the british authorities try to take anti-terrorism measures they are met with endless attacks and criticism from the Muslim community - constantly perpetuating this victimhood role - and the twisted logic that by trying to prevent or discuss Islamic terror WE are CREATING more hatred.

I understand, and I didn't say you are wrong at all, but I have very strong instincs to defend and its getting hard to pick a side when both seem to be under attack. Just as I would defend you in your rights and freedom as an innocent part of society - meaning simply you are you and have a right to exist in any non violent way you chose and not be persucuted for that in any way - but I also will defend anothers rights in the same way. To do that sometimes the place to stand is in the middle.
This part isn't directed at you but... everyone keeps asking for "moderate" muslims to start speaking out.... and they are...everywhere, but no one pays attention or even notices. Its almost like they really don't want them to, cause then they would have to change or rethink in some way even if it is only in attitude.
I've learned there are two kinds of people out there... ones who just want to fight and ones who actually want to make a difference.
I have seen muslims speak in defense of jews ... and then non muslims reply ... no! your taught to hate them! in fact you are told to kill everyone! and go on to give them a lesson in hate? it just turns into a big yes you do...no I don't arguement.
I don't want to fight, I want to solve problems.

everyone keeps asking for "moderate" muslims to start speaking out.... and they are...everywhere, but no one pays attention or even notices.

One of the biggest factors in all this is the media, who seem incapable of promoting what "moderate" Muslims actually think. They always wheel out the most vocal, and thus the most religious Muslims who nearly always whinging about being victims and how the state is increasing "Islamophobia".

British muslims are the most anti-western in the western world, and yet the british public has been shown to be the most tolerant.

We need to challenge this victimhood culture. We need to challenge the delusional beliefs that fuel this hatred towards Britain. Stop blaming everyone else. Take responsibility.

The fact is 200 Muslim groups are planning attacks on British civilians according to MI5. We can't be all touchy feely with subjects like this.

Regarding finding solutions, sometimes you have to fight for whats right. All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

I know you have always had good intentions ... and a good head.
I agree with what you say about the media. On my blog I have been trying to give good peacful muslims from all over the world - who do not support extermism in any form, a voice and encouragement to continue speaking. they feel they are not being heard, and they aren't.
So what will I become by defending their freedom? a muslim supporter and an enemy? will a day come in the future where we hide innocent muslim families in our basements to save them from a new kind of radicals and terrorist?

All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

exactly... but evil comes in many froms and good men should stand between and against them all.
and support others trying to do the same regardless of race, nationality or religion.

Stop blaming everyone else. Take responsibility.

I think that says it all. But the only thing we are trully resposible for is our selves and how we act out in acheving those goals. The "end" justifies the "means".

Errm no! That's just aint gonna happen. Let's not get carried away! Whilst we should all be wary of government and irrational fear of groups of people, we should not let this noble consideration blind us from the truth.

The facts are that 200 Muslim groups are being monitored in this country for terrorist activities.

Nobody I know have has called for the death of all muslims. However we have heard for the death of non-muslims.

Lets not perpetuate and reinforce the victim mentality. This is exactly what the extremists get impregnable young teenage muslims into. You are a victim! Your brothers and sisters are being slaughtered in Palestine, Chechnya, etc etc...

why do you keep arguing to prove your point? I said I agree with you?
I only wondered why you used the quote from the one who disagreed but not the one who supported?
I think you pointed out a very important issue I haven't seen brought up anywhere.....

"We would all be a lot better off if these vocal voices cocentrated on keeping their "brothers" from hating the kafir."

or is that what people mean when they ask for a moderate voice?
    Is that the victim hood?
I have seen many muslims trying to explain to the world they don't support extremism but I haven't seen any speaking to the extemist about it? maybe if they won't we should but not in the way we have been.
I search Islamic fourms and some are CONDEMING the very commenter you copied... but the part you didn't add... the part saying they need to join with others... they say it's wrong ...because they are kafir.
...but then if you look at what the same site offers as basics of Islam it says brotherhood with all is the foundation. A very big contadiction in teaching I think.
I focus on this more than you realize. But not as a problem.
Thank you for the link. I always try to read the British papers, all things point to England.
I know I have never seen anyone calling for the death of all muslims (yet) but I have seen many say Islam needs to destroyed. It's kind of the same in a way. And attacks on muslim have started, I've seen them in the papers.
I'll stop now cause I really hate loooong comments.
But I have a new question for you...
How does some one who often critisizes there own writing and posts.... always manage to somehow make intellegant, thought out and eloquent comments?
